JANA MACHACKOVA-OEY
For many years, photography has taught me how to slow down, to notice what often goes unseen, and to trust what reveals itself in its own time.
This way of being shapes how I meet people—with openness, sensitivity, and respect. My experience with empowering photography has further deepened this way of creating space with others.
Seeing You is about giving you time to be seen.
It is a quiet, shared moment of being present with yourself.
I believe that every person carries their own world—stories, memories, strength, sensitivity, and quiet treasures waiting to be seen. What unfolds can be quiet or expressive — there is space for both.
You may already have a place in mind, or we can find it together. We might talk, walk together, look through old photographs, explore places that feel important to you, or photograph something that feels meaningful in your life right now.
You might come with a theme, an activity you love, or simply a wish to spend time being present as you are.
You are welcome to bring clothes, objects, or memories that feel meaningful to you and that you would like to become part of the journey.
There is no need to have any previous experience in front of the camera. It is completely okay if being photographed feels unfamiliar, difficult, or something you have not felt comfortable with before.
We begin slowly, taking time to arrive—to the place, to the moment, and to yourself. I may guide you gently, or we simply move together through the space, allowing things to happen naturally.
There is no need to perform—this is a space where you can be as you are. We take time, listen, and allow whatever feels true to emerge.
I don’t create the story—I make space for it to appear.
If something in these words resonates with you, and you feel even the smallest sense of curiosity, I would be happy to hear from you. And if any questions arise, you are warmly welcome to reach out.
