A one-year assignment for non-profit organisation Parasta Lapsille on documenting various events and activities organised during the COVID-19 period 2020–2021 in Tampere. The purpose of this project was to support the organisation’s mission of promoting the wellbeing of children and families by organising a photography exhibition. Through photography we sought to highlight the right of children to safe participation and to their own time and dreaming, even under exceptional social circumstances. We wished to show that courage, creativity and goodwill can overcome obstacles and that, regardless of the limitations, it was possible to forget everyday worries. The project was exhibited in Metso Main Library and Hervanta Library in Tampere, Finland.
